Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame
The hall of fame of American motorcycling, on Main Street in the rally capital of the world.
The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame is the hall of fame of American motorcycling, sitting on Main Street in Sturgis — the rally capital of the world. It is the institutional home of the sport's history in the town every rider eventually makes a pilgrimage to.
Beyond the museum walls, the location is half the reason to come. Sturgis is an easy ride from Spearfish Canyon and the Black Hills loops, so the museum slots naturally into a day of riding the surrounding byways.
Whether or not you are here during the August rally, it is an obvious stop on any Black Hills trip — the place to connect the riding you are doing to the history behind it.
